Meghan Markle has stepped out with the royals for the first time since she spectacularly trashed them in front of the world and Oprah Winfrey – and The pillars of the Morgan post watched carefully.
Morgan has compiled a series of viral pictures showing the young Prince Louis grimacing and screaming on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, before cheekily tweeting: “Is that when Aunt Meghan came along?”
The tweet quickly racked up more than 17,000 likes, with many people praising Morgan for speaking their mind.
“The huge reaction to my tweet perfectly sums up public opinion towards the Duke and Duchess of Sussex,” Morgan told The Post on Friday. “Most people laughed because they are now the laughingstock of the world after all their hypocritical and hypocritical antics against royalty.”
However, the host of the new global TV show, “Piers Morgan uncensored‘, added: ‘But the dwindling number of Meghan and Harry’s humorless awake fans have been sparked into fury, yet again, because they sincerely believe the Sussexes are the world’s greatest victims. This belief, like my tweet, is hilarious.
Among the Peanut Gallery’s jokes on Twitter: “The whole UK looks more like!” someone wroteclaiming that all Brits had the same dramatic reaction to Markle.
Indeed, some have taken issue with Morgan for singling out Markle during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, given his long history of criticizing her.
“Of all the things that could have been released on a day of celebration and gathering of people, you choose this. Why the need for such viciousness?!” asked one Twitter user.
“I knew you couldn’t go 4 days without mentioning Meghan. But I thought you would abstain at least the first day out of respect for the queen,” another said.
Morgan and Markle were once on good terms, with the couple drinking together at a British pub in 2016.
“We spent two hours in a pub, she drank a few dirty martinis, I drank a few pints, we hit it off brilliantly,” Morgan explained in 2018. “And then I put her in a taxi, and it turned out it was a taxi that took her to a party where she met Prince Harry. And the next night they had dinner solo together, and that’s the last I heard of Meghan Markle.
“She ghosted me,” Morgan said then. “Meghan Markle ghosted me.”
The Post columnist has since been skeptical of the star’s motives and slammed her after she trashed the Royal Family in her interview with Oprah Winfrey last year.
During this sensational meeting, the actress – who is biracial – leveled accusations of racism to an unnamed member of the Royal Family, saying there were “concerns about the darkness” of her son Archie’s skin.
She also claimed to have had suicidal thoughts while living in the UK and performing her duties as a working member of the Royal Family.
Morgan later dismissed Markle’s claim that her mental health was suffering, and infamous stormed the set of ‘Good Morning Britain’ after a colleague scolded him for not believing his claims.
Morgan refused to apologize for his remarks and was fired from the top-rated morning show. He has since rebounded with his own show, “Uncensored Piers Morgan.”
Meanwhile, Prince Louis became the bonafide star of Thursday’s Trooping of the Color event, which kicked off Queen Elizabeth II’s four-day Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
The 4-year-old was filmed making a series of exaggerated facial expressions as he joined his family on the balcony at Buckingham Palace amid cheers from crowds on the mall.
The snaps – which were used by Morgan for his tweet – were shared around the world, and inspired a series of hilarious memes.
